LEGALLY PARKED - On [REDACTED] at approximately [REDACTED] [REDACTED] city carrier was legally parked at [REDACTED] preparing to dismount the vehicle. The handbrake was set the wheels were curbed and the emergency four-way flashers were on. She was still in the vehicle when the driver of a black Hyundai [REDACTED] rear-ended the legally parked LLV deploying all airbags in the personal POV vehicle. The impact pushed the LLV into a brick wall and a telephone pole. The POV driver admitted fault to the attending police officer. There were several witnesses to the incident as well. The employee was transported to Alamance Regional Medical Center in [REDACTED] via ambulance for evaluation and treatment of non life-threatening injuries. The customer was not transported to the hospital. The employee was released from the hospital on the evening of [REDACTED]. The employee is currently away from work.
