Moving housekeeping cart into elevator
What happened
Employee stated that her right pinky and ring fingers were crushed in between the elevator door and cart handle while pushing the electrical housekeeping cart into elevator 1 which was located on the second floor of the north wing at the time of incident. Employee stated that she angled the cart on to the right corner of the elevator and as she was swinging the back end of cart to the left side of the elevator the doors began closing and she could not move hand fast enough which caused her hand to be caught in between the elevator door and cart handle.
