What happened

At approximately [REDACTED] [REDACTED] was attempting a left hand turn from [REDACTED] to [REDACTED] when a POV attempted to pass the carrier OR turn left. POV driver was not clear on this aspect of the incident. She was talking very fast. She stated that she did not have a valid drivers license however the State Trooper did list a drivers licence number on the AL State Trooper Driver Exchange Information report. The POV belonged to her grandfather. When the POV struck the USPS owned Metris Van 2327570 belonging to the Cedar Bluff Post Office the Metris Van stopped horizontally across the lane of traffic. The left rear tire off the roadway and slightly on the embankment. The POV left the roadway went down the embankment hit the side of the drain pipe dug up the stream bed and came to rest in the field. Ms [REDACTED] had a small child approximately [REDACTED] of age in her vehicle. There was glass from the POV on the child he had a bump on his head. Ms. [REDACTED] had blood on her face
