Assisting the removal of a box from a jammed conveyance line.

What happened

Technicians were cleaning out the nets at the discharge end of the Linear Sorter from the floor and off of a Work-Aid. They removed several smaller packages one technician pushing through the netting from the floor to the technician on the Work-Aid. Due to height and reach restrictions technicians repositioned themselves due to difficulty in removing a cardboard box that ultimately contained a 35-pound kettle bell. As the technician attempted to remove the cardboard box from the netting and back onto conveyance while working off of the Work-Aid the box integrity failed and the kettlebell dislodged from the box and fell into and out of the netting striking the right shoulder back and right arm of the technician positioned on the floor.
