What happened
taking out a patient 's IV when the blood from the IV splattered on my face near my mouth. I am unsure if it entered my mouth or nose or eyes. I then notified a nurse who notified a supervisor who told me to wash my face wash my mouth with saline solution and then go down to the emergency room. I then went down to the emergency room to get bloodwork done.
