What happened
Employee was changing knives and was removing one of the knives when the hood suddenly started to close. He tried to remove his hands before the Norman hood closed. He was unable to remove his right hand and the hood closed on his right middle finger and the hood pressed his finger in the exposed knife. There wasn 't enough plant air pressure to open the hood back up. So he pulled his finger out of the hood.
