Performing routine product change steps to switch glass mat sizes for different product.

Unwind stand side guide on [REDACTED] was not coming back all the way for product changeover. Glue table end was tilted and he went and held it level so trainee could run the wheel back 1 2 inch more. With the left hand on top and right on bottom the guide broke free and put weight on right arm (estimated 200 lbs + -) and then he heard a pop and felt it drop. He let go of it and guide fell to floor. Right arm at bicep to inside of elbow tightened up and appeared to be retracted.

Holding side guide level to allow full retraction the cotter pin broke and guide fell while being held with right hand full weight strained right bicep muscle. Surgery to repair.
