Nurse cleaning instruments in SPD. Sink with sharps water and chemical cleaning agents. Instruments had been soaking in chemicals for 10 minutes then scrubbing of instruments started. Attempting to pick up next instrument and felt sharp stick. Gloves removed and noted blood on inside of glove. Handwashing scrubbing done with soap and water and 70pctg alcohol. Instruments reviewed and suspected sharps noted. It was a pick ups (like a tweezer) but has a very sharp pointy end. These instruments were pulled from the ER dirty storage [REDACTED]. The sharps was in one of three buckets. Each bucket is a different Pt but we have no way of knowing who the Pt might be. Director notified.
