What happened
Employee was attempting to align the wave feeder so safety pins could be installed by pullin gto drive belt by hand. The employee could not move the belt anymore due to tension on the belt. A decision was made to pull the belt with a come-a-long. When the employee attempted to release the belt the stored energy of the belts tension pulled the employee 's hand into the sheeve of the motor causing a pinch point injury
