GIVING AN INSULIN SHOT
What happened
I WAS GIVING HER SCHEDULED INSULIN. I GAVE IT TO HER AND TRIED TO RETRACT THE NEEDLE STILL IN HER ARM BUT IT WOULD NOT GO AFTER A COUPLE OF TRIES. I HAD PULLED MY LEFT HAND AWAY BEFORE PULLING OUT THE NEEDLE. ONCE THE NEEDLE WAS OUT OF THE ARM I TRIED PRESSING IT IN ONCE AGAIN HAVING A HARD TIME THE PATIENT HAD BUMPED MY ARM HOLDING THE NEEDLE MAKING THE NEEDLE GO INTO THE OUTSIDE OF MY LEFT POINTER FINGER (SIDE CLOSEST TO MY THUMB)
