Before the incident
Employee was moving a casting with his hands his right hand slipped from casting forcing his right elbow into the edge of a metal bin that holds the castings. When his elbow connected with side of pan caused a bursa injury.
What happened
Hit elbow on inside of metal bin. Condition worsened over time went back to OccMed for follow up.
Injury or illness
Initial injury was bursa sack inflammation. OccMed treated and drained braced and was released to return to work. After use of right arm bursa sack became inflamed again sent back to OccMed referred to Ortho Ortho deemed it necessary for surgery to remove damaged tissue.
