What happened
Employee was standing in front of residents wheelchair with her hands placed under the residents armpit. As employee was assisting resident out of the wheelchair the resident continued to hold onto the armrest. Resident couldn 't stand and began to sit back down into the wheelchair. Before resident was fully seated in the wheelchair employee picked the resident up without assistance and turned right while holding the resident up and placed resident onto their bed. While Lifting the resident to place into bed employee felt pain in lower back area.
