Employee had just finished cut a sample of nickel-plated steel strip from a finished coil. Samples should be placed directly into the sample box but the employee was carrying it to go other work.

Employee remembered he had forgot to turn off a pump on the backside of the line so he walked with the sample in his left hand behind the line and when he stepped over a curb the sample came in contact with the back of his lower left leg.

Employee received six structures to close wound on lower left leg.
