What happened
I was taking a used suture needle off a needle driver to place in a sharps container when the needle dislodged from the needle drive and stuck into my left ring finger I was wearing proper PPE shoe covers hair cover mask with attached shield and also double gloved for the procedures After the stick I removed my glove to see that the puncture spot was bleeding I then went to wash my finger with soap and hot water While I as washing my finger [REDACTED] the nurse called [REDACTED] to inform her of the incident
