What happened
Another RN and I were moving a patient off the unit in the middle of an emergecy where flooding was occurring The other RN was steering as I was guiding the foot of the bed These ICU bed NEVER work when it comes to steering As she was steering with the handles the bed went too fast and could not be turned and I was pinned up against the nursing station full force of the bed My right legknee began to hurt immediately and is now swollen red and hot to the touch It is difficult to walk and by the end of my shift it was very painful to even get up
