associate was grabbing a pallet from the wood pallet area

[REDACTED] pulled up to the wood pile. He got off his equipment [REDACTED] and went to grab a pallet. He stated that when he went to grab the pallet it slipped due to it being wet. When the pallet slipped it hit his thumb pushing it back. He stated that he did not feel anything sever. [REDACTED] [REDACTED] is his scheduled day and he approached me and showed me his left hand. It had a black and blue. He also showed me a photo he took on [REDACTED]in the morning. Did not give me a timephoto is attached in this report of his hand. I went ahead and called the [REDACTED] she did not answer. I did call the nurse online and they did do a report. Stated that they will be calling video chat to take a look at his hands. [REDACTED] did the video call and was sent to packing for modified work. Online paperwork is attached and scanned to [REDACTED] and HR.
