EE was assisting with a stuck splitter chipper block when he turned the belt back on his hand was not clear and another chip block further back on the belt smashed his fingers between the two blocks. EE was loading the incline on the splitter deck with a loader but had come up to the splitter chipper to assist the operator with a chip block that was having trouble going into the chipper.
