Employee stated that there was a package that had leaked inside a tote. The tote was on the shelf. Employee brought the tote down from the shelf and pit it o the van 's floor. At the next delivery employee lost his footing on the metal side step of the van. Employee slipped back and was able to catch the fall with both hands.
