Operator was putting strap around a 20474 to put the part in a cart. He had placed the part on top of the cart “to speed things up” the part fell he instinctively tried to grab it smashed his finger. Called maintenance and together they got a hold of work care left a voicemail on supervisor’s phone & ultimately drove himself to the hospital
