What happened
EE was rolling on a chair from his work staging area to his work area at the small bader in the forge bader room. While rolling his wheel got stuck in an uneven surface condition divot on the concrete floor. The chair stayed there & his momentum took him to the floor where his right hand was crushed between the floor & a heavy part. The part crushed broke his right hand just beneath his thumb. The injury turned black & blue & swelled up immediately. We sat in the employee break room with ice on the injury while on the phone with the nurse triage. [REDACTED] was in a lot of pain- nurse sent him to the [REDACTED] urgent care just before they closed he was then sent to the ER for x-rays where the confirmed his hand was broke.
