EE alleges [REDACTED] he was loading a flatbed truck when he bent a metal strap out of his way and the squared end of the metal strap flew back and hit him in the L eye. EE denies other injuries or open wounds. EE reports the injury happened very fast. EE denies pain but reports a cut in between the cornea and white of the eye through the edge. EE states he believes it is a cut into his eyeball not a scratch on the surface. EE does report redness to the white of his L eye. RN recommended EE seek immediate care by calling [REDACTED] d t a cut into his eyeball. EE verbalizes understanding of [REDACTED] recommendation but has refused EE has chosen to self-treat the injury.
