Getting ready to pump transfer chemical

[REDACTED] - Coworker triple rinsed a pump to give to the employee who suffered the injury. Pump previously was used for [REDACTED]. Coworker communicated hazards related to [REDACTED] to me [REDACTED] - With nitrile gloves and safety glasses: Employee was installing injection quill. While installing some liquid (water or diluted [REDACTED]) dripped down onto my face and arms. Employee went to the eye wash station about 5 feet away and rinsed their face and arms for about 5 minutes.

Employee started experiencing irritation and noticed a rash develop several days later. Went to a clinic and it was confirmed the chemical exposure caused the rash irritation. Employee was prescribed a steroid cream for treatment.
