Preparing press 31 for next changeover by clearing out the chute.

The operator was on Press 31 clearing out good chute parts for [REDACTED]-0221 's. As parts (I 's) were being brought out of the chute by the operator residual gravity caused the parts to drop out of the die and the operators right thumb was caught as is happened to be in the point of operation. This in turn caused the operators thumb to get caught and pinched in between loose laminations and the bracket on the chute.
