On [REDACTED] EE reported that they are meeting with PCP about a hernia they were recently diagnosed with. EE stated they met with a surgeon on [REDACTED] and doctor confirmed surgery was needed for removal. After receiving this news EE felt it was appropriate to report issue to safety manager. Upon investigation EE stated they first felt the bump on [REDACTED]. and thought it was minor issue that would go away. After time and consulting with spouse EE made decision to visit PCP on [REDACTED]. EE stated this hernia happened at work over time constantly lifting cases and kegs. Status changed to LTI on [REDACTED].
