Before the incident
Employee was taking down panels that were on the racks so they can be processed.
What happened
Employee was taking down panels that was on a rack by himself. He went to cut the wires holding the panel onto the rack. When he cut the wire the wire went through his right ring finger. The wire went through the bottom meat part of the finger under the bone. Once he went the ER he received 2 x rays to make sure the wire did not broke the bone. Employee refused a tetanus shot and was given antibiotics in case it got infected. Employee was not wearing any gloves. Gloves are not required to perform this task.
