The associate was performing a stocking function of picking up product and putting it on the belt.

The associate was moving from [REDACTED] 2 to [REDACTED] 7 so he took off his stocking gloves from both hands. When he reached [REDACTED] 7 he used his scanner to see what product needed to be cut and the product was right behind him so it pick up the product set it on the belt and started to cut forgetting to put his stocking gloves back on. The first cut of the box the cutter slipped and made contact with his left thumb causing a laceration (associate had blade extended out past the guard)
