[REDACTED] was trying to get the staple as close to the edge as he could and missed the wood causing the staple to go through his left thumb. [REDACTED] was taken to [REDACTED] Hospital emergency room where the staple was removed and he was written off work through [REDACTED]. [REDACTED] was also given an antibiotic.
