Before the incident
Taking a baffle plate out of a tote and found two to be stuck together. The Machine Operator attempted to remove the two baffle plates apart from each other.
What happened
While attempting to remove the two baffle plates apart from each other they pulled so hard that when they did come apart the plate came up and struck the employee on the chin. The sharp edges resulted in a laceration.
