NEEDLESTICK FROM A DIRTY NEEDLE FROM A PATIENT 'S BLOOD DRAW. WHEN I REMOVED THE NEEDLE FROM THE BODY I PUSHED IT UP AGAINST THE BED TO TRIGGER THE SAFETY MECHANISM. WHEN I PICKED UP MY GARBAGE TO THROW IT AWAY I SCRATCHED MY RIGHT FIRST FINGER WITH THE NEEDLE TIP.
