Before the incident
I was in the ER room with a patient. After attempting to stick this patient for the third time I finally got a vein that worked but i had to use a butterfly needle.
What happened
when I got done i was holding the bandage on his hand. and trying to close the butterfly needle. when I went to close it. it came back and stuck me in the right index finger.
