What happened
Employee had a piece of wood called a 'sticker ' that was on the top of a layer of lumber and he picked up a 2x4x8 ' and slapped it down on the sticker. The sticker went downward to the conveyor and struck an end and bounced back up pushing another piece of 2x4x8 up which jammed his middle finger on his right hand.

The board the employee used to strike the (sticker) was being placed back on the chain when the sticker bounced and pushed aboard back up toward the employee finger while putting the first board back down.
