What happened
The employee was rolling pipe with his bare hands onto a slopped part of the rack using a pipe wrench. He had the pipe wrench too tight to break free while rolling. When he tried to take the pipe wrench off of the rolling pipe the wrench did not break loose and his left thumb was smashed between rolling pipe the wrench and next pipe. The force of the smash caused a laceration and broken bone in the employees left thumb.
