The employee was training another coworker in the Weld Department when the employee conducting the training noticed a missed weld on a part.

While the trainer was reaching over the part to point out the missed weld the trainee inadvertently hit the trainer 's arm with the weld torch.

The trainer 's right forearm was burned by the weld torch. The employee did not seek immediate treatment. On 2-26-24 the employee was concerned that the burn was infected and sought treatment.
