The employee was moving a machine outside of the dock area
What happened
The motor of the machine fell out and struck the employee on his left lower extremity resulting in a laceration and bleeding. Due to the amount of bleeding an outside ambulance was called and the employee was transported to [REDACTED] ER for treatment and evaluation. An x-ray was performed with results being negative for fracture. The employee received 4 sutures in his left lower extremity to close the laceration.
