Received incident report regarding needlstick injury. as per employee who is an orthopedic resident at GSMC but on a case at SCH she stated that during a bone graft procedure field was very bloody and she accidentaly sustined a needle stick from a suture to the right index. she cleaned the digit and soaked in beatdine for 20 minutes then proceded to the ED for post exposure labs.
