Assisting patient

Pt was intoxicated and became belligerent in hallway on the way to the [REDACTED] area. Pt was taken down by security to the floor. While the altercation was occurring the patient on [REDACTED] was in immediate physical danger from the intoxicated patient with security. I blocked the [REDACTED] patient from being injury in attempt to protect them. [REDACTED] my midthoracic began to hurt and worsening with palpation. I attempted to go home and take my already prescribed medications with OTC medications with little to no relief. [REDACTED] [REDACTED] pain is significantly worse causing concern for injury further than muscle strain.
