Assisting with defensive tactics training for the 145th recruit school. He is a DT instructor and was the suspect in a knife attack scenario and was attacking a recruit with a dummy knife as part of the scenario.

The recruit began defending from the simulated knife attack while standing he got back control and conducted a rear body lock takedown. The employee went down to his left and used his left arm to brace for impact with the ground. When he hit the ground the employee 's left shoulder arm took the brunt of the force.
