The employee was rodding out on the gates of the injection mold.

The employee was sitting on the deck of the Line 17 to rod out the machine. After rodding out the gates of the injection mold he scooted off of the deck. The operator 's feet made contact with a blue sorbet pad and slipped backwards away from the takeout cell and his head made contact with something assumed to be a purge Pan. The operator thinks it might have been the purge pan but the Pan at the time of the incident was far and not near the incident zone. The operator also said the ground was clean and so was confused why the sorbet pad should be there but the sorbet pad slipped out from the underneath his feet causing a loss of traction.
