walking into patient room while MA was finishing a blood draw

Patient was seated having blood taken by [REDACTED]s that work across the hall with urgent care clinic. Patient was seated in chair. [REDACTED] stepped away to place label on sample at the counter about 5 meters from patient. I walked into room and noted patient was having a syncope event and falling face forward out of chair towards floor. I rushed over and dad and I made eye contact and both immediately had hands on her preventing her from hitting ground. I counted one two three and dad and I lifted with legs and appropriate position onto treatment bed as patient was almost on ground after falling out of her chair. I placed patient in supine position and flexed knees. Patient quickly improved and consciousness returned.

within 5 minutes of this near fall patient experience I noted left low back pain

motion and lift maneuver

Lumbar strain - catching patient who fainted
