Rigging materials to be moved.

Employee was assisting the crane operator with the rigging of the load that they were going to pick-up and move. They were attempting to move 4 very large pieces product from the pull-through area to the weld-out area. This placed the injured employee between the stack the were moving and another stack. The employee states that they were trying to get the rigging placed so the load would be balanced when lifted. Employee states that he was adjusting his chain when the operator hit the up button on the crane remote causing the opposite side to be lifted and pulling the pieces towards the Employee. He said his reaction was to push the materials away from his head and face by pushing with his arms. When he did this he said that 's when he heard a pop and felt severe pain to his left arm and wrist.
