Assisting the crane operator in rigging materials they were going to move.

The employee states that he was helping the crane operator with the rigging of a stack of steel beams. He states that while moving the beams the hook was unstable and was swaying back and forth. He states that the hook that was swaying was on his side and the hook on the operator 's side was correctly hooked up and when the operator lifted the stack it pulled the stack over towards him at which time he tried to run away from the falling stack. He said that the beams ended up striking his leg knocking him down and also causing him to hit his lower leg on boards on a near-by stack causing his injuries.
