Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: a) Accessible areas within the path of travel of the bucket controlarms on the Mustang series 1200 serial #8907 skid steer loader were not equipped with guards to prevent any part of the operator's body from entering the scissor point area. This condition permits a potential crushing hazard to exist. One feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard is to install top and side screen barrier guards.
