Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: a) Seven thousand two hundred (7,200) volts of electricity from a power line passing adjacent to an unloading area on the Travis Batte Chicken Farm House #3 feed bin. Exposing employee to a serious electrical shock hazard. One feasible and acceptable method of abatement, among others, is to remove the power line from the unloading area.
