free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death
or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to:
a) Employees coming in contact with coal tar sludge and chem oil found
to contain phenanthrene, Anthracene, pyrene, chrysene, benzon alpha
pyrene, phenol and cresol did not adequately wash at the end of the
work shift.
The employer did not provide or make other arrangements for shower
facilities. Skin contact with the aforementioned compounds may cause
skin irritation and/or cancer.
