Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from reccognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that: a) Custom Log Homes: On or about 8/21/90 and at times prior thereto employees were exposed to the hazard of falling and/or being cut by chain saws while working on the approximately 10 inch diameter round logs of log home walls approximately 10 feet above ground leve. One feasible and acceptable method, among others, to correct the hazard is to provide scaffolding.
