Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that: a) Montana Idaho Log: On or about 8/22/90 and at times prior thereto, employees were exposed to the hazard of falling and/or being cut by chain saws while working on the approximately 13 feet ground level. One feasible and acceptable abatement method, among others tocorrect the hazard is to provide scaffolding.
