Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The %% employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: a) On or about June 15, 1989 at 820 Swamp Creek Road, an employee was exposed to the hazard of contacting a grounded guy, and a ground wire running up the pole while working on energized conductors. One feasible and acceptable abatement method, among others, to correct this hazard is to cover or remove all objects which are grounded or at a different potential from the energized conductors being worked.
