Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The %% employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: Location: 121st Street & 5th Avenue College Point, NY 11356 Engineers specifications and/or local building laws were not adhered to, in that employees were permitted to work on all levels of the structure without installing required materials (bracing, studding, stiffeners, screws and powder actuated fasteners). One feasible and acceptable abatement method among others to correct this hazard is to follow without deviation the instructions and procedures provided by the builders' blueprints entitled "General Notes and Physical and Structural Properties".
