Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970:  The
employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were
free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death
or serious physical harm to employees in that wre exposed to:
a) There was no magnet installed to remove ferrous materials at the
sheller truck dump and the openings in the grates were in excess of
2 1/2 inches in width. This exposes employees to fire and possible
explosion hazards.
A feasible and useful method to correct this hazard, among other methods
is reducing the openings in the grating to a maximum width and length no
greater than 2 1/2 inches or install a magnet.
