Section 5(a)(1) of the Occupational Safety and Health Act of 1970: The %% employer did not furnish employment and a place of employment which were free from recognized hazards that were causing or likely to cause death or serious physical harm to employees in that employees were exposed to: a) The hazards of collapsing wooden roof trusses at the job site of Eckerd Drugs Store at Corey Landing Square because of inadequate temporary bracing. Among other methods, one feasible and acceptable abatement method to correct this hazard is to follow the recommendations in the booklet "Bracing Wood Trusses, BWT-76". This booklet is provided by the manufacturer of wooden trusses with each delivery. Another method would be to follow the special instruction on the drawings for the erection of the roof trusses supplied by Wickes Components for Eckerd Drug Store dated 07/28/86.
